In 1994 we opened a small workshop of 150 m2 in Bueu, Spain. Since then and with great effort and passion for what we do, we have become a national reference in the manufacture, repair and installation of teak decks.
At Nauteka, we have the capacity to manufacture large teak surfaces in a short time, and to move teams anywhere in the world to install quickly thanks to our prefabricated panel system.
We are able to achieve this smoothly and efficiently with the minimum of disruption thanks to our 8,000 m2 workshop space and the latest technology that offers our customers the best possible experience.
Quality
At Nauteka we want our customers to always obtain the best result and that is why we control the entire manufacturing process, from the teak logs to the final installation, we select each plank with precision, and we only use teak that meets the quality required by the customer.
This quality is obtained thanks to the origin of the wood we use, from the world’s oldest FLEGT-licensed forests in Asia. Teak is considered worldwide to be highly valued for shipbuilding due to its slow growth, minimal knots and richness in oily resins that make it very resistant to the marine environment.
Sustainability
90% of our decks are made from teak wood sourced from Java in Indonesia.
This wood is sustainably grown in controlled forests and imported in compliance with Due Diligence and FLEGT requirements.
The control of these teak forests pays great attention to future generations, avoiding the scarcity of this species and trying to create a sustainable rotation of this material.
We are official distributors of Java Supreme Teak (JST) in Spain, Portugal and Southern France. Both raw material and teak decking.
In addition, an exhaustive quality control is carried out internally that ensures the minimisation of errors in each of the processes and controls the traceability of raw materials.
